The Object:
The challenge of this brainteaser puzzle is to pack all nine metal quarter pieces into the black square frame. It seems simple, but it's much harder than it looks.

How to Play:
This online puzzle is based upon the Bits And Pieces Original Brainteaser "Packing Quarters." The rules are the same as the physical puzzle. The brainteaser starts with 8 quarter pieces randomly arranged inside the square frame and one quarter piece placed outside of the frame.

Pieces can be rotated 360 degrees. To rotate a piece, simply click and hold your mouse button along any corner of the piece (you will see a circular arrow) and rotate your mouse until it is in its desired position, then release the mouse button. Note: Once the piece is in the frame, the piece can only be rotated to fit into available space. You may need to remove it from the frame, rotate it, and then try bringing it back into the frame.

To move a piece, click and hold anywhere other than the corners (you will see two arrows) and drag it to its desired position. If you attempt to drag and drop a piece into an area in the frame where it will not fit, the piece will be automatically moved outside the frame.

To remove a piece from the frame, simply double-click it.

To start over, click the "reset" button in the top left corner.

Tips and Strategy:
If you think a piece should fit and it isn't, don't give up. Try rotating it slightly, or shifting other pieces in the frame around. Sometimes even the slightest changes can help.
